How do I pick a challenge?
This is the fun bit! Let your imagination run wild! If you have a favourite game pick something within that game – maybe moving to the next level, playing for 24 hours, playing blindfolded and receiving directions from friends – The choice is yours.
When does #HDAPlay take place?
#HDAPlay runs all year round, so pick a date and time suitable for you.
Do I need to stream?
It is up to you! If you are an experienced streamer or keen gamer and regularly stream go ahead and stream your #HDAPlay – the more people who hear about our work, the more awareness and funds we can raise!
If you have never streamed before and are keen to learn, the first step is to set up a Twitch account. Just Giving have a really useful page on streaming you can read about here. However, if you have never streamed and don’t want to stream that is fine as well. Play your game your way.
How do I raise money?
Tell everyone you know about your #HDAPlay challenge, share your Just Giving page around family, friends and colleagues and keep everyone updated on your #HDAPlay. People will donate straight onto your Just Giving page so you don’t need to do anything else.
Can you send me some fundraising materials to show I am taking part in #HDAPlay?
We can send you a t-shirt and you can download our overlays to show your support through #HDAPlay.
