We are here to support you whether you are looking for peer support or advice from a professional. Below you can find out more about our Specialist Huntington's Disease Advisers and local branch and support groups.
Our specialist advisers are experienced and compassionate care management professionals.
They support anyone who needs their help at any stage of the Huntington’s journey. They can help people living with the disease, people at risk of inheriting the disease, family members and carers, and children or young people. They can even advise friends, neighbours, employers and your medical team.

Hull and East Riding branch
Welcome to the Hull and East Riding branch of the Huntington's Disease Association. We meet regularly and welcome anyone affected in any way by Huntington's disease to our meetings. We also invite the local Specialist Huntington's Disease Advisor to some of our meetings.

We are a new support group and would love for you to join us for a coffee and a chat.
The Salvation Army Cafe is very reasonably priced with no obligation to purchase. The car park is very small so if possible, please park in Church Green carpark or on street.

North Yorkshire support group
The Huntington's Disease Association North Yorkshire support group is run by volunteers to provide emotional and practical support to anyone affected by Huntington's disease in the local area. We meet for coffee, tea, cake and great company.

The Huntington's Disease Association West Yorkshire branch is run by volunteers to provide emotional and practical support to anyone affected by Huntington's disease in the local area.

Neurosciences Department
Multi-Disciplinary Team of doctors, specialist nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dieticians, speech therapists, psychologists and nursing staff who provide care and treatment for people living with a range of neurological conditions.
Community Rehabilitation Service
A multidisciplinary team which provides treatment, rehabilitation, advice and support to people living in Kirklees. The purpose of the team is to help you achieve your goals in relation to daily living and quality of life.
Neuro Rehabilitation Outreach Team
The Neuro Rehabilitation Outreach Team provides an integrated rehabilitation service for adults in Doncaster and Rotherham: Inpatient assessment, Neurorehabilitation Inpatient Unit, Community services, Outpatient consultation and rehabilitation.
Community Neurological Rehabilitation Team
The Community Neurological Rehabilitation Team are a specialist rehabilitation service providing therapy to adults who live with a neurological diagnosis and have a Leeds GP. They are a multidisciplinary team made up of: a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine, Dietitians, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists and Therapy Assistants.
MY Therapy
MY Therapy see patients within the Wakefield district who require assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services. The team is made up of Physiotherapists (PT), Dieticians, Occupational Therapists (OT) and Support Staff.

Neurological Rehabilitation Team
The team consists of Occupational Therapists (OT), Physiotherapists (PT) and Therapy Assistants (TA). They work across the outpatient and community setting to provide a co-ordinated approach to patient care.
Community Matrons
Community matrons provide case management for individuals within community settings who have complex long-term conditions requiring support from both health and social care services.
Huntington's Disease Team
Offer assessment for and treatment of Huntington's disease, offering a holistic multi-disciplinary assessment and continuous long-term care.
Stroke, neurology and amputee rehabilitation
Provide rehabilitation support in a range of settings according to need.
Neurological Enablement Service (NES)
Specialist community-based team who provide support to people living with a long-term neurological condition.
Neuro Case Management Service
Specialist community team that sits within the Long Term Conditions Service. They work with people who are living with the challenges of a long-term neurological condition, their families and carers.
Neighbourhood Rehabilitation Service (home based occupational therapy)
Community occupational therapy service - Helps people with complex physical disabilities and neurological impairments maximise their independence within the community.
