Double your donation this week, during Mental Health Awareness Week

Update 16 May - Thanks to amazing support we have hit our matched fund target of 10k but we still have another 10k to raise to provide all the psychological support we want to in the coming year. Please continue to give!

This week any donation you make to the Huntington's Disease Association will be DOUBLED thanks to the Big Give Kind2Mind campaign.

Your donation will help us provide free psychological support for the Huntington’s Community; helping to improve the mental health and well-being of those with Huntington's, their families and their carers.

Mental Health Awareness Week

During Mental Health Awareness Week we want to raise £10,000 to fund therapeutic sessions for the Huntington’s Community. But we can't do this without your help. All donations made to the campaign during the next week (15 - 22 May) will be matched by the Big Give, meaning your support can go even further.

Actor George Rainsford, Patron of the Huntington’s Disease Association said,

"We need your help to reach our £10,000 target, which will help to fund therapy sessions, providing vital support to those affected by Huntington's disease, and their families. You can double your donation by donating during Mental Health Awareness Week to the Huntington’s Disease Association."

Donations to our campaign will be generously matched by the Big Give during the campaign meaning your money can support twice as many people affected by Huntington’s disease

What will the campaign fund?

The money will fund psychological support sessions for the Huntington’s Community including,

  •  Four Acceptance and Commitment Therapy groups
  •  Four Narrative Therapy groups

As said by a previous attendee of the narrative therapy session

“I felt lighter, less burdened and able to cope with difficulties in a more positive way.”

Mindful of Huntington's

May is Huntington Disease Awareness Month, this year to raise awareness of Huntington's disease we have created a campaign called Mindful of Huntington's, highlighting the impact that cognitive impairment has on the quality of life of those with Huntington’s disease, family members and carers. Mindful of Huntngton's highlights lack of mental health support for anyone affected by the disease.

Double your donation.
