Are you at risk of Huntington’s and haven’t undergone genetic testing?


About the study:

This study from Cardiff University will explore what it’s like to be at risk for Huntington’s disease in 2026, at a time when there is hope for new treatments. The researcher would also like to understand your thoughts around genetic testing.

This study aims to:

Help Genetic Counsellors support individuals who are considering their testing options.

Who can take part: 

Adults aged 18+ who are at risk, but who have not yet undergone pre-symptomatic genetic testing.

Clare will then get in touch to arrange a 45 – 60-minute interview which will take place either online or over the phone.

Please note that the interview will be transcribed using secure software and analysed using thematic analysis.
