This webinar is suitable for anyone affected by Huntington's disease who is considering predictive genetic testing, as well as those who have already received genetic test results and have questions. It will also be of interest to anyone who wants to find out more about the genetics of Huntington's disease and genetic counselling.
Cheryl Stopford is a registered Genetic Counsellor and has been working at the Leeds Clinical Genomics Service for the last 9 years. In this role, Cheryl works with families living with genetic conditions, such as Huntington's disease, and mainly provides genetic counselling prior to predictive testing.
Previously, Cheryl has worked as a neuropsychology researcher, has contributed to a multi-disciplinary management clinic, and has been involved in coordinating the Enroll-HD study and several clinical trials.
Cheryl has around 25 years of experience working with families affected by Huntington's disease.
