Meet your speaker

Cheryl Stopford is a registered Genetic Counsellor and has been working at the Leeds Clinical Genomics Service for the last 9 years. In this role, Cheryl works with families living with genetic conditions, such as Huntington's disease, and mainly provides genetic counselling prior to predictive testing. 

Previously, Cheryl has worked as a neuropsychology researcher, has contributed to a multi-disciplinary management clinic, and has been involved in coordinating the Enroll-HD study and several clinical trials.

Cheryl has around 25 years of experience working with families affected by Huntington's disease.
