A new way to celebrate your fundraising journey.
We are so grateful that our community of #TeamHDA fundraisers take on challenges and hold events for us time and time again. Every one of your fundraising journeys are unique to you. Every event, every race, every bake sale is a milestone in your fundraising journey.
For some people, that journey may begin with a 5k and end with a marathon, skydive or ultra challenge. For others, it may be baking cakes, hosting a coffee morning, organising an Odds And Socks Day fundraiser or bringing your local community together in support of families affected by Huntington’s disease.
No matter how you choose to support us, every fundraiser helps make a difference.
This is why we are excited to launch our new Milestones Medal - a special collectable medal designed to celebrate every milestone in your fundraising journey with us no matter how big or small.
About the Milestones Medal
The Milestone Medal is a collectable keepsake that recognises the wide range of fundraising achievements of our community.
Fundraisers who reach a set fundraising target will first receive a bespoke wooden holder designed to hold up to six tokens as well as their first fundraising token.
A range of tokens will be available to collect, each with unique designs and representing different types of fundraising activities. This means fundraisers can build their collection over time, whether they are taking part in activity challenges, races or community fundraising events.
Inspired by our community
The Huntington’s community inspired every part of this new recognition programme.
We know that not everybody can take part in physically demanding events such as marathons or ultra challenges. We also understand that Huntington’s disease can affect what people are able to do over time.
The Milestone Medals are designed to be inclusive and accessible. We want to ensure that everyone can be celebrated, no matter how they choose to fundraise. Whether you are running a race, organising a bake sale, hosting an awareness event or fundraising together as a family, every contribution matters and deserves recognition.
A great idea for families would be to fill the Milestone Medal together, with each token representing different fundraising moments achieved as a team or as individual family members.
