We would like to know how you have found getting access to mental health services?

We hear time and again from members of the Huntington’s disease community that they are being denied access to mental health services because of having the condition. It’s something our Specialist Huntington’s Disease Advisers hear frequently too.

When pressing the government about access to mental health services we were told by Helen Whately, the Minister for Social Care that everyone should be able to access mental health services, no matter what is causing the mental health condition. However, we have reason to believe this isn’t what’s happening on the ground.
