We are pleased to invite you to our peer support meeting for adults over 40 years old affected by Huntington's disease.

Voice Banking and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication): the effect of Huntington's disease on speech, and proactive steps that can be taken.


This online event will include a guest speaker as well as time for questions and peer support. The event is aimed at people affected by Huntington's disease, over 40 years, to provide a group for those who have left our young adults group.

We will be joined at this meeting by Kim Ferrari - Lead Speech and Language Therapist

Kim Ferrari is the Lead Speech and Language Therapist at St Andrews Healthcare, with a broad range of front line clinical experience working in neuropsychiatry and mental health inpatient services. Kim is committed to addressing the complex intersection between communication and mental health, advocating for early, proactive intervention to support individuals with Huntington's in maintaining their voice identity and supporting tangible, meaningful outcomes.
