The Huntington’s disease Youth Engagement Service are running a Ninja Warrior event in Stoke-on-Trent for those aged 8-17 affected by Huntington’s disease.

This is a great opportunity to relax, have some fun and meet other people who have Huntington’s in their family. There is no charge for the event, lunch will be provided and travel costs can be reimbursed.

Ninja Warrior activity centres are based on the ITV TV show "Ninja Warrior". The course means you climb across, balance on, and jump over various obstacles to reach the finish line.

It was really fun and I loved meeting people who understand the same situation and are similar ages to me because I have never met anyone else with Huntington's disease in their family.

Huntington's Disease Youth Engagement Service

HDYES work with children aged 8-25 living in a family affected by Huntington's disease or with Juvenile Huntington's disease. They can offer advice and support, help with understanding and talking about Huntington's, be a listening ear, help with talking to teachers and schools, and get young people together through events and residentials.
