Goodman House has passed our care home accreditation for its personalised approach to caring for people with Huntington's disease.

The Huntington's Disease Association is delighted to announce that Goodman House has been awarded accredited status in its Quality Assured scheme. Goodman House demonstrated an excellent fundamental ethos of care with a very personalised approach to care which we know is so important for people with Huntington's disease.

"We also know that a lot of hard work and dedication go into this, from the whole team.  We would like to congratulate Goodman House and look forward to continuing to work with them."

- Helen Santini, Team Leader, Advisory Service, Huntington's Disease Association

"The team at Goodman House are delighted that we have been awarded the accreditation from the Huntington’s Disease Association. We have been supporting people living with Huntington’s disease and their families for many years now. Our focus is supporting younger people with nursing and complex needs, to live life to the fullest and we have a dedicated, passionate team who strive to go the extra mile, to help people achieve their individual goals. It is fantastic to have our efforts recognised through this accreditation and it’s been a pleasure working closely with the Huntington's Disease Association team to achieve this. We look forward to many more years of supporting people and their families in our home and working closely with the Huntington's Disease Association to enhance people's lives as much as possible."
