On 23 April there will be an emergency alert system on all smart mobile phones at 3.00pm for 10 seconds. This is regardless if the phone is on silent or not.
It has been highlighted that this alert could potentially put vulnerable people at risk if they were to have a hidden phone or a violent partner, parent or guardian. We wanted to share this update to ensure our community is aware and in hope that the message reaches far and wide.
How to switch your alert off
