The Welsh 3000s is one of the toughest mountain challenges in the UK and attracts thousands of participants every year.

About the challenge

Are you ready for the 15 highest peaks in Northern Eryri/Snowdonia - all over 3000ft - in one long day? This may prove to be one of the most challenging routes you can follow in the UK mountains, over rocky and rough terrain.

The goal is to summit 15 peaks, all over 3,000 feet, in one day. During the challenge you’ll ascend over 4,200m across three magnificent Welsh mountain ranges in spectacular scenery.

Whether you’re tackling this epic mountain journey solo, for charity or as part of a team, our guided Welsh 3000s events will help you get the very best out of the experience. RAW’s qualified Mountain Leaders know the route intimately - leaving you free to push yourself to your limit without worrying about navigation.
