The Huntington's Disease Association is delighted to welcome Callum Schofield (Research Business Partner - Innovation, Research and Improvement System (IRIS), part of NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB), part-time PhD student at the University of Hull) for this webinar on understanding weight loss in Huntington's disease.
Callum will discuss difficulties that the disease introduces in terms of eating, digestion, energy, and how that impacts people on a day to day basis.
Callum will discuss his interviews with professionals and Huntington's disease family members and how they have influenced his research.
He will then summarise the evidence that we have so far on eating, weight loss and Huntington's disease, and then discuss the HD-EAT and FEEDhd studies, what we hope to find, and how people can get involved.
There will be opportunity for questions.
Please join us as we take a detailed look at this important topic.
