This free event is for families affected by Huntington’s to meet, share experiences, and access information and support.



About the event:

The day will include:

  • 11:00am - Arrive
  • 11:30am – 12:30pm - Research update with Dr Henrique Nascimento from University College Hospital London (UCLH)
  • 12:30 – 1:30pm - Lunch will be provided
  • 1:30 – 2:45pm - Art / craft activity with our Youth Worker, Sirumpa Waranon
  • 2:45pm - 3:00pm - Final questions, tidy up, any feedback of the day

There will also be opportunities to meet and talk with others from families affected by Huntington’s disease.

Anna is one of our Specialist Huntington’s Disease Advisers, and covers London. She will be available on the day to share her knowledge of supporting people living with the disease.

Sirumpa Waranon – Youth Worker

Sirumpa is a Youth Worker with the Huntington’s Disease Youth Engagement Service (HDYES). She has extensive experience supporting children and young people affected by Huntington’s disease, delivering safe, inclusive activities and providing emotional and practical support to families.
