What improvements are needed to the care offered to people living with Huntington's disease?

Sandra Bartolomeu-Pires is a clinical nurse researcher who is has secured funding to undertake research to develop a model of integrated care (Integrate HD) for people with Huntington's disease and other neurological conditions.

My aim is to develop an intervention that improves joined-up care for families living with Huntington’s, identifying what works well, but also identifying which are the obstacles to change, and how to go about tackling them. This is what I call a model suited for the "real world.
