A LOHA activity-based course for supporting children's mental health.

LOHA offers a specially designed program for families to work through together, helping you both understand and manage wellbeing challenges. The program includes short, online, engaging activities—most between 5 and 20 minutes—that focus on strengthening communication and emotional connection.

LOHA supports by:

  • Encouraging open and honest conversations about feelings and challenges
  • Building on your family’s strengths to create a sense of togetherness and support
  • Providing flexible activities you can choose and complete at your own pace, fitting around your busy life
  • Offering weekly video calls for parents with a psychologist experienced in Huntington’s disease, giving parents a space to reflect and get extra support

While LOHA isn’t specifically focused on Huntington’s, it creates a safe space for all family members to share how they’re feeling, what’s difficult, and what helps. This helps parents understand how their children are coping, and children to recognise their parents’ feelings too.

LOHA is ORCHA approved and has benefited families around the UK in understanding how each other is feeling and creating effective communication strategies.
