New Huntington's disease research study for physiotherapists
Physiotherapy is important for treating people with Huntington’s disease and physiotherapists may come across those affected by the disease during their careers.
To help physiotherapists, the Physiotherapy Working Group of the European Huntington’s Disease Network has put together and published, guidelines for physiotherapy in Huntington’s disease. Cardiff University is now conducting a survey to determine how the working group can support physiotherapists in the implementation of these guidelines.
The survey is an online questionnaire that asks about factors that would help or hinder physiotherapists in implementing the guidelines in practice. If you are a physiotherapist who has or is working with people affected by Huntington’s disease, please click here for further information on the study. The questionnaire should take approximately 15 minutes to complete and can be accessed via the button below.
If you would like to speak directly to someone about the study, please contact Una Jones at [email protected].
If you are affected by Huntington's disease and need support or advice, please contact us on 0151 331 5444 or email [email protected].
