London branch

The London Branch of the Huntington's Disease Association is a combination of the Highbury Support Group, the Harrow Support Group, the Uxbridge Support Group, and we recently
added the East London Support Group.

We hold informal meetings on a regular basis, usually over a tea or coffee, to offer support and advice to people affected by Huntington’s Disease. Our venues are spread across London, north of the River Thames.

We run family days with guest speakers including Huntington's disease researchers and dieticians; we have had a representative from the Department for Work and Pensions, which our members found extremely useful.

Our social events include picnics and a garden party.

Where we meet

We meet once a month in Highbury, Harrow, and Uxbridge, venues include a carers shop, a café, a school and a Beefeater.

When we meet

We meet once a month in Highbury, Harrow, and Uxbridge. Currently our East London meetings are on a pop up basis, usually during school holidays to suit our friends there.
