Around 8000 people in the UK have Huntington's disease with a further 32000 estimated at high risk of inheriting it.
#HD8000 is a fundraising initiative aimed at raising funds for our work, ensuring we can continue to make a difference to people affected by Huntington’s disease. Throughout the year we’re asking everyone to support #HD8000 by getting involved in different and exciting challenges.
Dust off your wheels for our summer challenge! We’re calling on supporters to roll forward for the 8000 people living with Huntington’s disease throughout August. Join us for our new challenge #HDBike and cycle your way to supporting those with Huntington's disease.
We are looking for supporters to help us cover a total of 8000km by bike throughout the month of August. Will you help us reach our target?
• Challenge your family, friends and colleagues to take part
• Cycle every day or over a weekend or even just one day!
• Plan your own routes and discover new places in your neighbourhood
• Raise a minimum of £100 to support our work
#getonyourbike4HD this August and help us to raise £8,000 to help support people living with Huntington's disease.
