Ideas

If you know you’d like to raise funds but not sure what to do, why not take a look at other people’s achievements to get you started…

  • Alison hiked up Scafell Pike.
  • Linda has run the London marathon seven times.
  • Henry, aged 11, ran a mile a day – every day – for a month.
  • Mary sells homemade jam and organised a cream tea party.
  • James, aged 15, organised a hugely successful silent auction.
  • Margaret held a family fun day and fashion show.
  • Bella-Rae, aged 4, sang Let It Go from hit movie Frozen at a charity event.
  • Josh trekked 40 miles across the Swiss Alps.

Sweepstakes

Have fun and raise funds for Huntington’s Disease Association by taking part in a Sweepstake competition.

Sweepstakes are easy to organise and are a great way to get your friends, family and colleagues involved in supporting our work. You can create your own sweepstakes for just about anything, from predicting your finish time in a race to guessing how many sweets there are in a jar – but we also have a few ideas you can download below! Keep a lookout on our social media as more sweepstakes will be added over the coming months.

Great British Bake Off

It's back! Great British Bake Off hits our screens again on Tuesday 27 August 2019 and here's your chance to go through the agonies of soggy bottoms, collapsing souffles or Hollywood handshakes week by week and help raise funds for the Huntington's Disease Association.

Our sweepstake makes it easy for you to organise with your friends, colleagues and family! Simply select the name of the person you think will win or pick names from a hat, pay a donation towards playing - we suggest £2 and add your name to the sheet! You can download our Bake Off sweepstakes sheet here!

Whoever is left at the end of the Bake Off final is your winner - you can award them a cake or another prize of your choosing then send the donations you have raised into the Huntington's Disease Association. Your funds will help us to support people and families affected by Huntington's disease.

Follow our basic rules to ensure your sweepstake is safe and legal.

Strictly Come Dancing

Everyone's favourite dance show returns to our screens on Saturday 7 September and you can help raise funds for the Huntington's Disease Association by downloading our Strictly Come Dancing sweepstake!

Which contestant will go out in week one? Who will make it to Blackpool or all the way to the final? Who will lift the famous Strictly Glitter Ball?! You can award the winner of your Strictly sweepstake a small prize and send the donations you have raised to the Huntington's Disease Association. Your funds will help us to support people and families affected by Huntington's disease.
