We’re delighted to announce that we have charity places available for the Yorkshire 10 mile 2020.

  • Event date: Sunday 18 October 2020
  • Minimum age: 17
  • Registration fee: £20
  • Minimum fundraising target: £150
  • Deadline for ballot entry: 26 June 2020

Taking place on the same day as the Yorkshire Marathon, the Yorkshire 10 Mile shares many of the highlights, but with the added bonus of only being 10 miles! The race will begin in the heart of York – arguably the most beautiful city in the UK - and pass many of its historic landmarks, including the world-famous York Minster and the mighty medieval City Walls. The race also heads out into the idyllic Yorkshire countryside where runners will be treated to scenic surroundings and quaint country roads.

A wonderfully supportive atmosphere is guaranteed throughout. Running the Yorkshire 10 Mile will be an unforgettable experience.

 

When will race packs be sent to runners?


Runners will receive their race packs approximately 3-4 weeks prior to the event. This will include their race number, timing chip and event information.

What happens next?

Our fundraising team will be in touch with you to let you whether you have successfully become a part of #TeamHDA by the middle of July 2020.

 

If you are successful in your ballot entry, you will receive:

  • A welcome email & fundraising toolkit from our friendly fundraising team
  • A sports vest or t-shirt to wear on the day
  • Support from our dedicated fundraising team to help you reach your target

 

Already have your own place?

 

That’s great news – you can still join #TeamHDA and raise vital funds for our life-changing services. There’s no minimum sponsorship amount, as you have purchased your own place, we just ask that you raise what you can and to help those in the Huntington’s community!
