Join us for a half-day training aimed at professionals working in a residential or nursing home setting in the North West of England.


Event details

During the session, we will be joined by Huntington’s disease professionals who will present on topics such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Dietetics.

We will help you develop a greater understanding of the disease and allow you to share your experiences and ideas and discuss the management of complex situations with others in similar situations.

For maximum benefit, we encourage various roles from the service to participate in this event, including care staff management roles, activity, catering, etc. However, we request that at least one member of the management team is included in the group.


This event is limited to 5 attendees per care facility across the two sessions due to the training being funded.There is an option of a morning or afternoon session.

  • Morning session 08.30am until 12.30pm
  • Afternoon Session 1.00pm until 5.00pm
