HDA research grants
The HDA invites
applications for the following support for research aimed at furthering
our understanding of Huntingtons Disease improving its treatment
or otherwise improving the quality of life for patients and their carers.
HDA Studentship
Funds for up to
three years are available to support the registration fees and a maintenance
grant (£8,000 p.a.) for a postgraduate student undertaking such research
at a UK academic institution. A contribution to running costs up to
a maximum of £4000 p.a. may be available. Potential supervisors should
apply after obtaining details from the address below.
HDA Research Project Grants
Funds of up to £25,000
p.a. for 1-3 years are available for the direct support of research,
although priority will be given to small "pump-priming" grants
likely to lead to support from a major funding body.
