October 2005
- World Congress on Huntington's Disease: 11th–13th September 2005
- International Huntington Association Meeting: 13th–14th September 2005
- Venue: Midland Hotel, Manchester
The Huntington's Disease Association were privileged to work as part of the team that brought the World Congress on Huntington's Disease to Manchester.
The meeting is open to all those scientists, researches, clinicians and researchers that work in the field of HD. What a great opportunity!
There were over 450 delegates from all areas of HD and all over the world. The contents of the meeting were recorded by a science writer and will be published in the future, but it was encouraging to hear the amount and breadth of work being done in this field.
A meeting of the International Huntington Association (IHA) followed the meeting. This provided an opportunity for the lay Association’s to meet and discuss common areas of interest, and common frustrations! It allows Associations to share experiences.
